APPLICATIONS

Ground wire can be used for the following grounding applications:

•Pole ground wire used in ground wires to pole attachment.

•Tower ground wire for utility wires.

• Utility staples are used to attach pole ground wire to the pole.

• Telecommunications: Utility wire for use in telephone drop wire.

• Ground mats (revetment matting) are used under substations and power grids.

• Electrical distribution: Grounding wires used in overhead support cables for residential and commercial grounding applications.

• Ground Counterpoise forms a circle grid for grounding under towers.

• Copper clad steel wire (utility wire) can also be used as antenna wire, hobby/craft wire, and tie wire.
