APPLICATIONS:

Nickel-plated steel provides a cost efficient alternative to the use of pure nickel wires. Offering tensile strengths from 50 KPSI to over 100 KPSI, these materials provide a solution for high temperature lamp filament support, heater element terminals, battery applications, and interconnect wiring for high temperature applications.

Our Pennsylvania nickel-plating facility manufactures nickel-plated steel wire for the following applications:

• Wrap wire for use by music string manufacturers

• Wire cloth for use in automotive filter screens, industrial filter screens and battery cells
